Spirit Class

At 5:00 am, the streets are dark.  On Sundays, I often make it from my house to the studio with out passing single other driver.

Arriving at the studio I unlock the door and turn off the alarm.  The door automatically locks again behind me as it closes.  The lights are out, in the lobby, there's no reason to turn them on.

In the studio I lay down my mat and light a candle.  Then I wait for the teacher and students to show up.  There is no need to unlock the door.  No "body" is at the studio at this time of day.  Later as it starts to get light Ellie arrives to practice in the upstairs studio.

The class I am attending doesn't have a time on the schedule.  But for one who pays careful attention the teacher is here, and periodically to other non-physical students.

This is a spirit class.  It begins before the crepuscule and ends as the city begins to awaken.

Every day I come down here to be in this space.  Who will show up?  You never know.  But one who pays attention might be able to learn something
